So, We Tried Communism, You hated us for being Communists
When We embrace Capitalism, You hate us for being Capitalist.
When We have a Billion People, you said we were destroying the planet.
When We are tried limited our numbers, you said It was human rights abuse.
When We were Poor, You think we are dogs.
When We Loan you cash, You blame us for your debts.
When We build our industries, You called us Polluters.
When we sell you goods, You blame us for global warming.
When We buy oil, You called that exploitation and Genocide.
When You fight for oil, You called that Liberation.
When We were lost in Chaos and rampage, You wanted Rules of Law for us.
When We uphold law and order against Violence, You called that Violating
Human Rights.
When We were silent, You said you want us to have Free Speech.
When We were silent no more, You say we were Brainwashed-Xenophoics.
Why do you hate us so much? We asked.

当我们实施计划生育时，你们又说我们侵犯人权。
当我们贫困时，你们鄙视我们，把我们当做猪狗。
当我们开始对外贸易，向你们贷款时，你们又指责我们欠了你们的债。
当我们致力于发展工业时，你们谴责我们污染了环境。
当我们向你们出售商品时，你们又指责是我们导致了全球温室效应。
当我们购买石油时，你们称这是对资源的掠夺。
而你们却假借解放的名义，在全球为争夺石油挑起战火。
当我们一有风吹草动时，你们就想拥有制裁我们的法律。
当我们想利用法律和规则反对暴力时，你们又声称侵犯了人权。
当我们沉默时，你们煽动我们要争取言论自由。
当我们不再沉默，你们却又说我们被政府洗脑如此排外。
我们不免要问：“你们为什么如此仇视我们？”
你们声称：“我们并没有仇视你们。”
那么我们还要问： “你们理解我们吗？”
你们回答说：“我们当然理解。我们有AFP（法新社），CNN（美国有线新闻电视） BBC（英国广播公司）……”
