同学们，我们学习了front这个单词，你们知道吗，它们有两种不同的含义：

1.the front 正面，前面。

例：(1) The front of the building was covered with ivy.

        建筑物的前面爬满了常青藤。

(2) I prefer to travel in the front of the car.

       我愿意坐在汽车的前面（挨着司机）。

2.in front of … 在（某人[某物]）前面。

例：(1) The car in front of me stopped suddenly and I had to brake.

我前面的汽车突然停住，我只好刹车。

(2) The bus stops right in front of our house.

公共汽车正停在我们房前。
